In the AL MANSOUR GATE Lusail, State of Qatar, the cocoon structures were inspired by nature. Their rounded shape and curved roof was designed to be soothing and relaxing, with plenty of natural light during the day and a cosy atmosphere at night.
Constructed to bring something unique to the cityscape, HEXANOM cocoons are structures with dimensions of 100 meters long by 27 meters, wide and columnless. 5.041 sqm. Consisted of 8.096 unique members, 2.728 unique nodes and 5.028 unique panels that create the feeling of an open environment capable of hosting unique commercial enterprises.
